Identity, cloud and endpoints.
Systems that work.
Security in focus.

I’m Aditya, a people-first ICT systems professional working across Microsoft 365, Entra ID and managed endpoints. I help people use technology confidently while building toward identity, cloud and endpoint security.

01 / PROFILE

Connecting technical
detail with human needs.

Good ICT support starts with understanding the person behind the problem.

In a three-person school ICT team, I combine practical troubleshooting with systems support: helping staff and students, managing service requests, supporting access permissions and contributing to reliable Microsoft cloud services.

My approach is calm, patient and clear. Alongside technical support, I help put access and information-handling expectations into practice through documentation and staff guidance.

02 / SELECTED WORK

Practical work.
Clear purpose.

Selected contributions from my work in education ICT.

01 IDENTITY & AUTOMATION

Making cloud group data visible

Adapted existing PowerShell patterns and extended them through research to retrieve Entra ID group data, giving cloud identity administration better visibility and reporting.

Context & outcome

The need

Accessible group information to support identity administration.

The result

Improved visibility and reporting capability for cloud group management.

PowerShell Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Reporting
02 ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Supporting role-based access

Worked with the ICT Manager to reorganise role-based groups, aligning access with current roles. Also supported SharePoint and OneDrive access remediation by checking shared links, direct permissions and group membership.

Context & outcome

The need

User permissions aligned with roles and appropriate access requirements.

The result

More consistent role-based groups, removal of unused groups and access aligned with current responsibilities.

Active Directory Permissions Identity
03 IDENTITY ANALYSIS

Planning a simpler sign-in experience

Documented the current state and compared architecture options, account-linking approaches and fallback choices. Set out risks, a phased implementation plan and measures of success.

Context & outcome

The need

A clear understanding of the existing workflow and the options for a more accessible sign-in experience.

Deliverable

Workflow documentation and an implementation specification. This work is a proposal; it is not presented as a completed deployment.

04 SECURITY AWARENESS

Making security part of onboarding

Deliver ICT policy and privacy inductions to new staff before device handover, covering acceptable use, device security, password hygiene, MFA and handling of sensitive information, and help staff apply the organisation's existing policies.

03 / INDEPENDENT WORK

Ownership, not just support.

Work I designed, built and secured end to end, outside my day role.

01 CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE & SECURITY

Building and securing a startup platform

As co-founder and sole technical lead of YourMigrationPartner (YMP), I designed, documented and secured the cloud infrastructure the product runs on — from environment separation and deployment automation through to access control and a written security baseline.

  • Designed and documented the AWS infrastructure, including compute and managed database services.
  • Established separate production and development environments with branch-based deployment automation through GitHub Actions.
  • Wrote and maintained a security checklist alongside the infrastructure documentation, so security decisions were recorded rather than assumed.
  • Reviewed and reduced database exposure as part of the platform’s security baseline.
  • Introduced access-controlled shared credential vaults for team secrets management.
Why this matters

The context

A small team with no dedicated infrastructure or security function, building a platform that handles personal information.

The approach

Treat documentation and access control as part of building, not as an afterthought — write down the security baseline, separate environments, keep deployment repeatable, and control who holds which credentials.

05 / PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Building toward
secure systems.

My next chapter brings systems support and security closer together.

My focus is Microsoft cloud administration, identity and access management, and endpoint security. I’m building on practical systems experience with stronger security knowledge, supported by careful documentation, access governance and clear communication.
